Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Boltpic (the “Service”) values your privacy and strives to provide its service with the least possible information. This policy explains what information Boltpic does and does not handle.

Personal Information We Collect

Boltpic does not offer sign-up or login features, and does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

The images you edit are processed only within your browser and are never sent to an external server, so Boltpic does not collect or store your image files or their contents.

Only when you send us an email for an inquiry do we use that information (your email address and the content of your message), and solely to the extent needed to reply.

How Images Are Processed and Stored

All of Boltpic's image features (color picking, color palette extraction, gradient generation, resizing, cropping, format conversion, compression, color replacement, transparency, mosaic, and more) run entirely within your browser.

Both the original images and the edited results exist only on your device and are never uploaded to or stored on an external server.

Images disappear from your browser's memory when you close or refresh the page, and Boltpic does not retain any image files or their contents whatsoever.

Using Images That Contain Personal Information

If an image contains personally identifiable information such as faces, ID cards, license plates, or addresses, we recommend masking it — for example with the mosaic tool — before sharing or publishing it.

Boltpic does not store images on a server, but it is not responsible for any exposure of personal information that occurs when you share or publish your edited results elsewhere. Boltpic's mosaic tool makes it easy to hide sensitive areas.

Purpose of Use

Because Boltpic does not collect any personal information, it does not use your personal information during normal use of the service.

The only exception is the email you send us directly for an inquiry, which we use solely to respond to that inquiry.

If advertising (for example, Google AdSense) is introduced in the future, some information such as cookies may be used to serve ads and operate the service. In that case, we will update this policy to clearly explain the purpose of use.

Cookies and Third-Party Services

Boltpic currently does not use any analytics tools or advertising, and does not use cookies to track users.

However, for convenience — such as remembering your language preference — some settings may be saved in your browser's local storage. These values are stored only on your device and are never sent elsewhere.

If analytics tools or advertising (for example, Google AdSense) are introduced in the future, those services may use cookies and similar technologies to process some information. In that case, we will update this policy and notify you of the changes in advance.

Third-Party Sharing and Retention

Boltpic does not share your images with any third party and does not store them on a server.

Any inquiry email you send is kept only for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and is discarded within a reasonable period once it has been addressed.

If analytics or advertising services are introduced in the future, those providers may process non-identifying statistical information under their own policies, and we will specify the relevant details in this policy at that time.

Your Rights and Contact

Boltpic does not store images or personal information on a server. Because there is no stored personal information in the first place, there is no need to separately request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information.

The images and settings you work with exist only on your own device (browser), and are removed immediately when you clear your browser data or local storage.

For any questions about using the service or about privacy, please contact us at contact@boltpic.com.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be revised in response to changes in laws or the service, and any changes will be announced on this page. For significant changes, we will also indicate the changes and their effective date.
