Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Boltpic (the “Service”) values your privacy and strives to provide its service with the least possible information. This policy explains what information Boltpic does and does not handle.

Personal Information We Collect

The image tools require no account or sign-in, and they do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.

Images selected in the image tools are processed in the current browser and are not sent to Boltpic's server for editing, so Boltpic does not store the selected image files.

If you use the contact form, we collect the email address and message needed to review and answer your inquiry. We do not use them for another purpose.

Separately, Boltpic uses Google AdSense to display ads, and in this process third parties such as Google may collect some information through cookies. See the “Cookies and Third-Party Services” section below for details.

How Images Are Processed and Stored

Boltpic's image-file tools — color picking, palette extraction, resizing, cropping, format conversion, compression, color replacement, transparency, and pixelation — process the selected file in the current browser.

The selected image is not uploaded to Boltpic's server for those operations. A downloaded result is saved through your browser to the location you choose on your device.

The working image remains in the current tab while you use the tool. Closing or refreshing the page clears the tool state; files you downloaded remain wherever your browser saved them.

Using Images That Contain Personal Information

If an image contains personally identifiable information such as faces, ID cards, license plates, or addresses, consider masking it — for example with the pixelation tool — before sharing or publishing it.

Boltpic does not store selected images for editing, but you are responsible for checking a downloaded result before sharing it. Reopen and zoom in on a masked file to confirm that identifying details are not readable.

Purpose of Use

Using an image tool does not require us to collect or use information that identifies you.

We use the email address and message submitted through the contact form only to identify the inquiry and send a reply.

In addition, Boltpic serves Google AdSense ads to operate the service, and in this process some information such as cookies may be used to deliver and personalize ads. See the “Cookies and Third-Party Services” section below for details.

Cookies and Third-Party Services

Boltpic stores a language preference in your browser's local storage when you choose a language. Local storage is separate from the advertising cookies described below.

Boltpic displays ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other websites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (https://www.google.com/settings/ads), and you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

For more about how Google uses advertising cookies, see Google's advertising policies (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads).

Third-Party Sharing and Retention

Boltpic does not share your images with any third party and does not store them on a server.

Contact-form information is retained as needed to answer an inquiry and complete necessary follow-up. Hosting or mail-system logs may be retained under the relevant provider's settings.

Google and other advertising vendors may process information through cookies and similar technologies under their own privacy policies when AdSense is loaded.

Your Rights and Contact

Edited images are not stored on a Boltpic server. Your language preference remains in your browser and is removed when you clear the relevant browser data or local storage.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information sent through the contact form, or to ask a privacy question, email contact@boltpic.com.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be revised in response to changes in laws or the service, and any changes will be announced on this page. For significant changes, we will also indicate the changes and their effective date.
